Twilight Theory & Practical Session: Saturday afternoon from 5pm to 8pm at HHSC.

Practical Session: Up to 8 hours on water on Sunday from 9am to 4pm.

This course is essential if you are driving a HHSC Club rib.  If you are new to power boating or just want a refresher we will be happy for you to participate in this course.

Our instructor Dave Williams has amazing experience in powerboat handling.

Course Overview
This one-day course is designed to improve your boat handling skills, especially in confined areas such as marinas and in swell and waves. You will learn more about engines and types of crafts and practise navigation techniques on a passage. In some instances, you can take your completion certificate to your State Maritime Regulator and gain the State Boat License. 

Course Prerequisites

Water confident. The skills and knowledge gained in Start Powerboating or equivalent power boating experience.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to further develop their powerboat driving skills. This course is also a prerequisite for becoming a Dinghy and/or Windsurfing Instructor.

You will gain your Powerboat Handling completion certificate.
