It is on again!!!! The 2020 OptiChicks at Hunters Hill Sailing Club is now open for bookings!!!

Think sailing and a sleepover, think watching the SailGP boats right opposite on Cockatoo Island, think twilighting on yachts, think meeting inspirational sailors, think delicious food and best of all, no pesky boys to muck it all up!!!  Its a gathering by the waters of Moocaboola, and we have celebrated this gathering with a beautiful painting by emerging West Australian indigenous artist, Toila Harrison ... a peek of which is here....

This event, which focusses on the fun of being a fantastically fast female athlete, is open to all Green Fleet, Intermediate and Open Opti sailors!! Book here ………….

The details are as follows:

• Date: Saturday 29 February, rolling into Sunday 1 March

• Time - kicking off at 11ish to allow for school sport commitments - arrive and unload at HHSC

• Saturday Morning Session  - Getting to know you session with coaching staff and OptiChicks over a simple lunch. There may also be some hair colouring, face painting and general zaniness at this point - come prepared!

• Saturday Afternoon Session – Into the Optis for an adventure sail.

• Return to HHSC, clean and store Optis, shower and get changed into casual gear.

• Saturday Evening Session - Twilight sail and nibbles on yachts , before returning to a BBQ dinner at the Club, a film, followed by a supervised sleepover

• Sunday - wake up, breakfast, get ready to race with the HHSC Race Fleet - finishing up at 2pm

• Cost - $75 all inclusive of meals, t-shirt, coaching etc
