2024 ACT Optimist Championships

Thanks to all the kids (30 from HHSC!), parents, NSWIODA & Canberra Yacht Club for another fantastic weekend in the ACT for the Optimist Championships.

Even the old OptiKids can’t stay away, with international IlCA sailor Sylvie dropping by to say hi while on a training ride! The ties that bind these sailors are so much more than transactional!

Some great results across the team too, and 30 sets of personal achievements and stories of the ups and downs of regatta sailing.
