From the President

As we wrap up another incredible sailing season and cheer on our highly competitive members in Europe racing against the world’s best, we’re excited to keep the momentum going with a fantastic off-season training schedule—read on!

We’re also thrilled to welcome a new club supporter for the upcoming season—The Rotary Club of Hunters Hill! Their generous sponsorship has made it possible for us to provide club race team t-shirts, which will be given to the first members to renew their membership and who will be competing in regattas throughout the 2025/26 season.

The Rotary Club of Hunters Hill is passionate about supporting local kids in staying active and healthy. They also recognise the dedication required to run a volunteer-led club, and we’re grateful to have them on board.

Rotary Club of Hunters Hill – Invitation to Brain Cancer Fundraiser Cocktail Party

Join us for a special evening hosted by the Rotary Club of Hunters Hill in support of The Brain Cancer Group. Brain cancer is a devastating disease that often receives less attention and funding compared to other cancers, yet it profoundly impacts patients and their families.

By raising awareness and vital funds for research, we can help advance treatment options, improve patient care, and move closer to finding a cure. This event is an opportunity to honour those who have faced this battle while contributing to life-changing efforts for the future.

Event Highlights:

  • A formal black-tie cocktail evening with drinks, canapés, and dessert

  • Live entertainment and inspiring guest speakers

  • Raffles and an exclusive art auction

  • All proceeds go directly to brain cancer treatment and research

Date: 29 April, 5-9pm
Location: Hunters Hill Club, 12 Madeline Street
Tickets: $88 per person
